Unheld  A solitary body moves through an almost featureless space, repeatedly losing and recovering its relation to the ground. At times suspended, displaced or folded back upon itself, the figure appears less to inhabit the space than to negotiate with it.

Unheld considers the unstable relationship between body, gravity and photographic space. Through movement, scale and the gradual fragmentation of the figure, the series explores a state in which physical presence no longer guarantees orientation, stability or support.
