In the Gothic Quarter unfolds within a shared apartment in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, where nude and clothed bodies inhabit the same domestic space without forming a fully legible narrative. Familiar gestures, furniture and routines create an atmosphere of intimacy, yet the relationships between the figures remain uncertain.
Through light, thresholds, reflections and the distribution of bodies within the room, the series explores the tension between physical visibility and emotional opacity. The domestic interior becomes both setting and structure: a familiar space in which proximity does not necessarily produce access.
